JAN CARR

CURRICULUM VITAE

Jan Carr, Ph.D., P.Eng., is currently the Managing Director of Barker, Dunn & Rossi, an international consulting firm specializing in electricity restructuring. Mr. Carr was previously Vice President, Power Systems at Acres International and also worked at Saskatchewan Power Corporation.

Mr. Carr was a member of the Macdonald Committee which advised the Ontario government on restructuring the electricity supply sector and reorganizing Ontario Hydro.

Mr. Carr is presently Chairman of the Electricity Task Force of the Toronto Board of Trade and a Director of TransAlta Power. He has worked extensively in the electric power industry throughout Canada as well as in the US and overseas in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.


LAURI C. GREGG

CURRICULUM VITAE

Lauri Gregg is currently the Director of Energy and Technical Services for Falconbridge Limited where he has worked since 1967. His responsibilities include the management of energy use within the Canadian and international operations of the company. He has held various positions in engineering and operations management related to maintenance, and utilities. He has administered the procurement of electricity and natural gas, as well as implementation of energy management strategies.

Mr. Gregg is the Past Chairman of the Association of Major Energy Producers and Consumers of Ontario (AMPCO) and represents AMPCO on the OEB External Advisory Committee as well as the Energy Minister's Electricity Transition Committee, and Environment Sub-committee. He is Chairman of the Mining Association of Canada Energy Committee, and consequently a member of the Canadian Industry Program for Energy Conservation ( CIPEC ) Council. Additionally, he is a director on the Board of Directors for the Industrial Gas Users Association ( IGUA ). He also is a member of the Ontario Mining Association Energy Committee.

Mr. Gregg graduated from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario.



JAMES NOORDERMEER

CURRICULUM VITAE

James Noordermeer has over 20 years of international experience in the design, layout, installation, construction, commissioning, startup, servicing, and overhauling of gas turbine power and steam turbine generator power plants, including cogeneration, and combined-cycle plants and associated equipment. Mr. Noordermeer is a Principal Engineer at Gryphon International Engineering Services Inc., and is the Company's Manager of Projects and Marketing Manager.
Prior to joining Gryphon in 1991, Jim was a Senior Mechanical Engineer at SNC-WP London and Associates, where he worked on the design and management of several cogeneration plants in Ontario and New York.
Mr. Noordermeer was a Field Installation Engineer and a Senior Engineer at Westinghouse Canada, working on several large gas turbine installations in California, Texas, Africa, and South America.
Mr. Noordermeer holds a Bachelor of Science Degree (Mech. 1980) from the University of Waterloo, and is a registered Professional Engineer and a designated Consulting Engineer in the province of Ontario, and a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Alberta. Mr. Noordermeer is also a member of the Industrial Application of Gas Turbines (IAGT) Committee of the Canadian Gas Association.



JAN BUIJK

CURRICULUM VITAE

Jan Buijk is currently a business manager for GE Distributed Power, responsible for Canada wide marketing and sales of distributed power applications, such as prime power, Combined Heat and Power, and district energy systems, which utilize the Jenbacher gas fuelled reciprocating engines.

Mr. Buijk started his career in the power generation business in 1984 as a design engineer, responsible for reciprocating engine based cogeneration projects at "Spruyt Energy Systems" in the Netherlands. After moving to Canada in 1988, Mr. Buijk joined Crothers (Toromont) in Concord, where in 1991 he initiated Toromont's venture into the cogeneration business and took on the responsibility for the marketing and sales of gas engine based load management, cogeneration and district energy systems.

Mr. Buijk holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utrecht in The Netherlands. While in University he wrote a thesis on the use of reciprocating engines for landfill gas fuelled power generation applications.



TERRY HARKNESS

CURRICULUM VITAE

Terry Harkness is currently the Industrial Product Support Manager for Toromont Cat.

Prior to being appointed Product Support Manager, Mr. Harkness
held positions as a Service Technician, Training Instructor, and Service Representative.

In his position as Product Support Manager, Terry is directly responsible
for the product support and site performance of power generation facilities
that are owned, operated, serviced and maintained by Toromont.
